The 8th grade math curriculum, and state test, require the use of an approved scientific calculator. Our current classroom set has been in constant use for 6 years and are on their last leg. My request is to replace these calculators. In addition, many students have been quarantined for periods of time, or have gone virtual as needed throughout the current pandemic, and do not have access to the approved calculator at home. If we had a group of calculators that could be checked out and returned, we could help accommodate these students as well.
