Many of my students this year, have trouble staying seated at their desks. I have one student that will never use his chair while working on papers. If a student can't stay still long enough to write their name or listen to a lesson, how are they going to absorb the information? I want to make it possible for all my students to get as far as they can in my classroom. Alternative seating will help students be able to concentrate on the lessons they need to learn to be successful. With these alternative seating options, it will help my students gain control over their school work. Instead of trying to concentrate on where they are, they can concentrate on what we are doing in the classroom.
