Just because we are a small rural school doesn’t mean our minds and hearts are small. I have big plans to create a reading and listening space that will take my students on a journey everyday! This listening center is what I need to support phonics skills, story retell, reading comprehension and even classroom management. Most importantly, I hope to instill a love for books. Whether they are listening to a read a-loud or reading a good story to themselves, I know that experience will carve out a journey for life.

About my class
