The doll house will help my students use their creativity and imagination by interacting with their classmates and increasing their awareness of different environments. Play is essential to a child’s development and has been proven to contribute to the child’s cognitive, emotional, and social well- being in the long term. My students have lived most of their lives in the height of Covid. They have lacked the opportunities to engage with others and simply just to play with peers other than family. Creative Play gives children the opportunity to express their creativity and use their imagination together. This enables my students to express and work through any positive or negative feelings, mimic real life scenarios, communicate and problem solve.

About my class
