Teaching and delivering content to students both in-house and virtually can be a challenge. Having the proper technological equipment during these times is imperative. Students often come and go between in-house, traditional learning and virtual/distance learning in my class. This opportunity will help to ensure that my students have the equipment they need for continuity of instruction, in and out of my classroom. It is well known that Chromebooks are used for a wide variety of course materials, and in math intervention, we use them a lot! These Chromebooks are very versatile. We use them frequently for math intervention, yet they can also be used for all other subjects, making them a smart purchase. Transitioning between activities should be efficient, however, this can be a challenge, especially without enough equipment. Currently, I do not always have enough devices for my students. If I were able to purchase 2 more devices, this would help to ensure that each student has a device to use, without the need for sharing or waiting for a device to be available. This will reduce the amount of disruption in their learning and supply the equipment needed to maintain engaging instruction for everyone in my classroom.
