These materials will allow alternative seating choices to students other than a hard chair. My kids are young and wiggly. Having a hard time sitting still, some tip chairs and end up hurting themselves or other students. Stools will enable them to have more freedom of movement while they engage in whole class learning and group work. The smaller seat would allow them to wiggle and even rock their body safely while not distracting others. The floor cushions would allow my students a comfortable (and a specific) spot to sit on the floor while reading a book or completing independent work.
