These art supplies and manipulatives will help my students learn and grow even more so in the time of COVID-19, as there are more rules and regulations to how many students can do certain activities at a time, cleaning in between uses, and spreading activities out around the classroom. With a larger quantity and wider variety of materials, my students will be able to learn and create at the same pace as they would in a "normal" year not battling a pandemic. These tools will foster learning by supporting open-ended play and creativity. From crayons and watercolors to building tools and puzzles, my students will be able to create and learn with endless possibilities. Whether using these tools at a focused small group center or during free choice exploring play, my class will grow in their social and academic skills throughout the year and beyond.
