My learning need is literature access for students that will help address standards as well as emotional identification and self-regulation. Currently, there is a vital need to role-play with students of appropriate ways to respond to life events and interactions with peers. My students have been impacted by distance learning and the pandemic. There is a wider range of students that are struggling with reading and self-regulation. This project will allow my students access to books that help them connect with characters, problem-solve, and can address standards. This project will allow me to expand my classroom library of high content literature and literature that can address the essential skills.
