Children learn to read in early elementary and read to learn in upper elementary. By providing engaging activities, my students will be motivated to read and write in English. Each item will support my lessons and extend the learning process. Our time will be filled with enthusiasm and fun. My students love manipulatives and games. The bean bag letters will promote letter recognition for my students in first grade. The English Language Development Skill Building Centers will promote vocabulary and writing for my students in second, third and fourth grades. They will connect these enjoyable activities with reading and continue to build these crucial skills in school.
