These materials are for real-life foods/utensils to be used in small and whole groups in Spanish class. They can be checked out in kits for students who need them to learn at home(pandemic). These supplies also include artwork which will include painting murals and researching Spanish artists. Students will also create a pinata at the culmination of the year. Students learn more when having fun and being engaged. They learn by doing and that is just what these supplies will do. They can actually hold and handle the fake food/utensil items and make connections to the vocabulary. The tubs will be used to sort the items where they are easy to allow students to work within cooperative groups. Since the pandemic, this is very important to reiterate working together with others. We also have to motivate these students more than ever with lessons that will engage them and create lasting memories of learning.
