To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I could use new materials for my Reading, Math & Science lessons. Through my 22 years of teaching, I have learned that students learn best through hands-on group/partner activities. These resources will allow me to teach my students a variety of skills in reading, math and science that will help them build a solid foundation. They will help me create more engaging units, while my students will love the hands-on activities in them. To bring my dream learning activity to life, the activities in this project will give students a new way of learning whether it be by seeing the wonders of nature up-close by using the similar “view masters” like I had as a child, or using our STEM skills by building mazes, or teaching with the magnetic writing board or magnetic math manipulatives and all the reading skill hands-on activities that can be used in small groups or as a whole-group lesson.
