With three secondary schools in our district, our middle school band often receives the left over percussion instruments that have been handed down from our junior high and high school. Often times these instruments are beyond gently used. New auxiliary instruments at my middle school will greatly enhance the overall sound of the middle school bands and give my students the opportunity to play something of superior quality. Additionally, these instruments may be checked out to practice at home as students learn the proper techniques used on the triangle, tambourine, and temple blocks.
