My students are in a brand new school. But, furniture and supplies were not purchased for a reading station. When students come to my class, they come for Reading and Writing. Many do not have the joy of reading. I’m trying to help create that by providing a fun, interesting place to read! The headphones are needed for a reading program to boost skills hopefully this year. It sounds like a lot of chaos when 21 students are on a computer at one time. Plus, I have noticed during assessments, scores in comprehension are low. I believe this is due to their inability to concentrate on their individual computer tasks and audio.
