"The Exploratory Art Project" that I am requesting, offers my art students the ability to use personal expression through various mediums. The pandemic has been extremely hard, and I find that my students have forgotten how to create and not be afraid to do so freely. I love introducing new mediums and techniques, because my students often won't experience them outside of school. Mediums like 3-D masks, glow in the dark artwork, crafty DIYs and everyday art materials like colored pencils and oil pastels get them excited. I plan on using my artistic skills to equip them with the knowledge and techniques that they can use at school or home with their families! Art is fun and I believe it is essential to fine motor skills and child development. It helps them think outside the box and can be used in any problem-solving subject area.
