We use the whiteboards in group lessons in reading and phonics where they write their answers and hold them up for me to see. Being involved in the lesson and writing keeps them more engaged with what they are learning. Whiteboards are also used for math on a daily basis and allow me to see where their mistakes are and correct them easily in a small group setting. Whiteboards save on paper. Technology is the future and students do a lot of online learning. Headphones are essential for individual learning and blocking out excess classroom noise so the students can focus on the current lesson.
