The different forms of art that I would like to incorporate into my curriculum are printmaking, wood burning, pottery, and mixed media artwork. For print making, I need linoleum blocks, carving tools, and ink. For pottery, I need air dry clay and acrylic paint. For wood burning, I need a wood burner. For mixed media art, I need cutting tools, paper, wax seals, pencils, paint, paintbrushes and canvas'. These materials would really help my students enjoy some different forms of art! I named this project "Inspire Creativity" because I believe it's so important for these students to take time to be creative. Spending time doing something creative has been linked to increases in student's academic success. As a teacher, my goal is to foster successful people.
