To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I could use leveled reader sets (mini-books) to practice literacy skills and build more confident readers. I would love to get these books to inspire beyond learning basic foundational skills. They would encourage deeper understanding, problem-solving, creativity, and independence. I would use these books in my guided reading groups. We have students this year that are reading at a lower level, and we need more books on those levels to accommodate those needs. A lot of the books in our school have gotten smaller in size and gotten worn in condition over the years.
