Six years ago nine students had a dream to bring back our drama department. They were told that it was impossible. They contacted a former student alum to come in and help resurrect the program. They did fundraiser after fundraiser and raised enough money to put on their first show. They continued to work tirelessly for the next two years till they had everything setup to keep the program self sufficient! Everything was going smooth until Covid-19 hit and caused a lot of problems for this close nit family! Most of our fundraisers have been cut due to Covid-19, therefore we need a lot of supplies to help with our upcoming performance. We have multiple actors and actresses so we need 2 additional clothing racks to keep costumes organized and off the floor. These will help in quick costume changes as well. We need lights to help with the dressing room and backstage lighting during performances. We need various supplies like paint, nails, paintbrushes and glue to help with building our set. We also need poster paper to make our flyers that will be displayed throughout town. These will help spread the word about our upcoming performances. We also need additional spotlights to help light our stage so that our wonderful students can be seen!! This program is a family for a lot of our students who don’t really have one and these supplies will help us to continue what these brave nine students started six years ago.
