Giving my GT students the opportunity to help other non GT students learn how to code will increase their social skills, and challenge them. Having other non GT students work with GT students will give the other non GT students the opportunity to teach social skills to the GT students in a non threatening way, which will in turn be beneficial for everyone. It would help all of my students if they had coding books available for all grade levels as all grade levels are represented in my program. Seeing robots work using the programs they have coded, will provide great satisfaction and build their self-esteem for all the students as well.
