I can use books to target any goal my students are working on. Articulation, phonology, expressive and receptive language, stuttering, apraxia, pragmatic language, social skills, and so much more! We communicate in stories every day from talking to a friend about something we're excited about to telling our parents about something hard we went through or need help with. When students struggle with their communication they become frustrated and withdrawn. Books help open students up and are a great tool to help them learn to communicate! Books can help them transfer the skills I teach them to skills they can use not only in the classroom, but throughout their life!

About my class
