I could use organizational items to help teach my students how organization will set them up for success. Other office supplies such as colorful markers and paper entice students to become more engaged in activities and make class procedures more efficient. My students love picture books about math concepts; I have included several of these for my class library. Many items in my project such as tangrams and origami supplies and chess boards will provide ways for my students to see real-life math and challenge them to develop problem solving skills. I have also included dry erase -10 to 10 number lines, two-colored counters, dry erase markers, and colored tape to enhance hands-on math lessons. These things will provide my students with opportunities to for students to work collaboratively to learn both math and social interaction skills.
