Thank you for taking the time to research this project. I would love to use the supplies to help my seventh grade students reduce their anxiety. I have broken down the supplies below and how they would be used. Yoga straps- these straps would be used to help aide students who aren't super flexible to stretch their bodies and gain flexibility. Not all students will be able to achieve each yoga pose perfectly. These straps will help them gain confidence in the poses. The exercise bands will aide in strength training and will be used to help hold proper form in some yoga poses. The yoga blocks will allow students to gain confidence in their yoga practice, help with flexibility, and allow students to improve and gain strength in many poses. The Tibetan singing bowl is a common tool used to help learn how to meditate and will be used while teaching the students how to clear their minds and set positive intentions. The benefits of a salt lamp are many. For my intended purposes the salt lamp would allow for an increase in energy for the students while also improving mood and concentration.
