The materials that I am requesting will help my students build their eye-hand coordination along with increasing their cardiovascular endurance. The scoops that are requested will be used in multiple ways to increase eye and hand coordination. Emphasizing using proper control and movements. We play many games that involve scoops throughout the year ranging from knocking down pins to playing mini-games of lacrosse. With class sizes increasing the equipment is getting more use and in rougher shape. All students should be able to have a toolbox full of lifetime fitness activities, from various activities that are done within Physical Education. The jump ropes that are requested will help build our student's cardiovascular endurance along with increasing balance and coordination. Many of the jump ropes that we have are missing handles and don't have the proper lengths for the wide range of heights of our students. We use the jump ropes in various ways such as independent fitness, teamwork activities, and group fitness on Fridays.
