The use of technology in the classroom is a great tool used for all subjects and all students. The iPads would be a huge asset for my first graders because they are more developmentally appropriate than our current technology we have in our classrooms. The online programs we use would be much easier for the students to manipulate on a touch screen rather than a laptop. Students in my classroom will mainly use the technology to grow their math and reading skills, but are not limited to just those subjects. I would love seeing my students engaged using technology while they are growing their reading and math skills.
