While we still are living with COVID, my students have struggled to get some of the basic supplies needed to be successful in the classroom. While are class sizes are consistently fluctuating due to quarantine and isolation procedures, my students have shifted from some lab based activities for biology to more creative projects. Because a lot of them work after school, procuring things like poster board can be a challenge. Along with that, many struggle to get the basic supplies needed in order to bring their ideas to life on paper. Additionally, my room is very cold due to an closet without insulation nearby. The curtains will assist in keeping what little heat there is inside of the classroom.
