I’ve learned that most students do best with hands-on projects, ones they don’t just have to “draw something”. It is highly anticipated by students to do these types of projects and their favorite is ceramics. Ceramics however is very expensive and with limited funds its not always easy or possible to add this into the curriculum. In the past supplies have had to be borrowed to complete ceramic projects. I’m asking for a way to help provide ceramic tools and glazes in order for my students to enjoy a clay project. This project will help during this pandemic impacted time by letting my students create their own personal projects with clay- one of their favorites. This will be its own type of therapy in our classroom and your consideration is very much appreciated.
