As a result of the pandemic and virtual learning, the majority of my students struggled without having a teacher for a typical length of daily classroom instruction which has been ongoing over the course of two years. My students are so diverse in their learning abilities that in order to help them learn amid the pandemic, the activity tables selected were chosen to meet with students individually or in a small group setting once again, helping to bridge the academic gap by learning together. In order to implement this teaching strategy, the materials requested will assist in making this dream a reality. I am hopeful that meeting with the students in more of a structured setting will encourage progression towards their IEP goals/objectives.
