My students are struggling to read due to so much time spent out of the classroom due to Covid-19. Some need help learning their letters and letter sounds. Some need help learning sight words so their reading can become more fluent. Some of my students can read, but need help with comprehension skills and strategies. Having resources to build on the skills they already have would be so helpful. I'd love to have some short books that we can read and reread. I'd like my students to be able to take these books home and show their families how well they are doing. Teachers Pay Teachers has some great already made resources to help build a phonics base for emerging readers. I'd love to utilize those resources in my class.
