All of the students at our school will be impacted by these items. We currently have an auditorium that holds close to 300 people. We hold numerous assemblies, Christmas and Veterans Day programs, as well as graduations in this auditorium. Our entire student body participates or attend these events. The items being requested will ultimately enhance the production of these activities. The wireless speaker system, microphones, and lights will allow our students to enhance the production of our programs, as well as start an annual school play. The interest is there, however, the students have been hesitant about putting in the time and effort, when they know the technology side of it will be lacking. A school play with one microphone and subpar lighting will cast a shadow on the work and time that goes into the production of a play. With the addition of these items, not only will our students and staff benefit, but members of our community who attend these productions will benefit as well. Every student in our school will benefit from the wireless mics, lights and portable speaker. Creating an atmosphere on stage that is top-notch will allow our students of all ages and grades to explore avenues they might not have considered before. Building confidence on the stage will lead to confidence in the classroom which will lead to the success that we as educators strive to provide for our students.
