I strive to engage and teach my students through a variety of hands on, interactive activities. Due to the impact of the pandemic, the students in my classroom are experiencing greater academic challenges than ever before. In addition, through virtual learning, they have lacked the opportunity to practice social skills and team work, which are essential skills to learn at the elementary level. To help my students gain and build academic and social skills amid the pandemic, I could use academic learning task cards and games from Lakeshore Learning. My students would love these engaging activities to play in pairs, teams, or as a class. The activities will help to foster community within my classroom and skills my students can use in other classrooms as well. My students will experience growth academically and celebrate their successes with each other. To bring my dream of engaging, academic activities in the classroom alive, I'd love to get these math and reading resources from Lakeshore Learning.
