Students will have math and reading games and activities for active and engaged learning. Young students learn better when they enjoy learning with others! 1st grade is all about reading, so having read aloud books that teach to our curriculum content and books students can read themselves is highly important in our classroom! Books that enhance learning with our science and social studies curriculum are essential to the students complete understanding. When we use the games and activities in centers and have books for the students to listen to and read on their own, the students learning will flourish!
