Laboratory investigations are an effective way to engage students. The students enjoy labs and activities, but sometimes they struggle to understand what is happening. It is important to me that any lab activity we do increases the understanding that the students have on that curriculum topic. I work hard to encourage my students not only to ask “why”, but to strive to understand the scientific explanation of the “why” and “how”. These sensors will allow my students to see their data in real time as they investigate the world of science around them.
