Kids need access to these new books in order to learn how to read. I use our school library, but it seems to be decreasing in availability of books. It would be nice to have a variety of books available for my students to read in class. I am a reading specialist and know that to improve reading levels, kids have to read. The more they read, their ability improves. I'm also a big believer in AR for motivating them. They enjoy earning prizes and rewards as they improve their reading skills.
