Being a first year teacher; being able to have these supplies and manipulatives will not only help me this year, but many school years and students to come. As we have been learning about HOW students learn, it is important to give them many opportunities to learn and express their learning in different ways. We have also been learning more about how students learn to read and the importance of having easily decodable texts. This will benefit my classroom library and allow them to have access to books that they are able to decode and read.

About my class
