Flexible seating in a classroom can help the students find a place where they can work and be successful. It will help give them a choice of where they feel comfortable sitting. My students also need access to more reading material on their level. Being lower level readers they have become discouraged by the reading materials that are made for their grade level. Having age appropriate reading materials on a lower reading level with help my students feel successful as they read by having reading materials that they are interested in on a level they can understand.
