Student artists are almost always faced with continual challenges when it comes to finding supplies and materials to use on projects, especially in the middle of a pandemic. I am always looking for fun new ways to give students access to supplies to use at home when they are not able to attend class. For this project, I would like to give every student a roll of artist tape to create a wall mural in their home (if distance learning) or on a large wall in our school. Artist tape can be used as a drawing tool for students to express themselves by creating a temporary installation/drawing on a wall in their home or at school. This gives students a unique opportunity to create something on a large scale with a small budget, helping them to think about being resourceful as an artist.
