The books I have chosen will be entered into my class library. I like to be able to expose my students to different genres, and hopefully help them to develop a love of reading. These books will be read as a class. Together we will explore the dynamics of plot, comprehension skills, inferencing, and all other reading and writing skills. Many students struggle with reading skills, such as comprehension and fluency. By working together as a class and teaching the students how to read to learn, I can help students so that they will be successful in school. One of the greatest joys of teaching is to watch students reactions when they realize that they "have figured it out."

About my class
