I want to help bridge some of the gaps the pandemic has caused for my students by providing lots of opportunities for social skills and learning to work together, allowing them ample opportunities to construct, create, foster fine motor skills, and improve hand eye coordination, all of which will definitely help my students overall well being. My students love to explore new activities and materials. They enjoy interacting and being engaged through a variety of activities throughout the day. These new activities and manipulatives will allow my students the opportunity to build, construct, boost counting skills, build fine motor skills, improve patterning, and improve eye hand coordination. My students will be working together with their peers while using these activities, which as an added bonus, helps to improve their social skills. I believe through the use of activities like these I am helping to prepare my students for Kindergarten. It gives them a fun, age appropriate, hands-on opportunity to help them grow a love for math!
