My students are virtual students. Being a virtual learner poses some difficulties for my "littles". Hands on work is very helpful for them. Most of my students do "offline" work, such as workbooks and projects. I help them with their work, through zoom meetings. Their parents are also a big help in their education. My students are better with the computer than most adults! Reading is the foundation of all learning; without a good reading foundation, my students will lose a connection with all other subjects. Working with my students, in a one on one situation, will help them to achieve better reading. By funding my project, I will be able to use some fun activities to help them improve in their reading and math. I look forward to meeting with my students and having them open my box, pull out the books, flashcards, building blocks, coloring, etc., and get excited about learning.
