A whiteboard is essential in any classroom and ours is nonfunctioning. We use it to keep our weekly agendas and our daily tasks listed for all to see. With my classroom being made up of some multi-handicapped students, our learning space needs to have the freedom to move around the classroom. Having fun, flexible seating set up throughout the room will help their concentration levels. Learning should be a fun process. The games will help with alphabet and number recognition. The puzzles help with my students' hand-eye coordination and their ability to grasp objects. Students can work individually or in small groups to avoid the spreading of germs.
