Our ELA classes are split into two sections in the 6th grade; I teach the writing of ELA & another teacher teaches reading. Our curriculum is reading based with only a set of text books for the reading class. The resources I purchase would serve as the main writing curriculum for my 6th graders. My students LOVE the creative process of writing and there are so many incredible resources from Teachers Pay Teachers I could use to foster this love! We have completed several writing projects this year. I spend a lot of my time creating these projects and tailoring them to the diverse learners in my classes. Resources from TPT are often already tailored to diverse learners.
