Covid has impacted our classroom in so many ways. Not all negative...kids have really learned the importance of being healthy as well as the enjoyment of doing something fun in groups and/or teams. I look forward to keeping their excitement going with new equipment and activities to teach them. It has been very challenging to come up with safe activities for the kids that allow them to work together, interact but not get to close and potentially expose each other. It has been difficult to come up with a variety of games and sports to play both outside in good weather and inside in cold/bad weather with limited equipment. I love being able to send kids back to the classroom with a fresh mind, their wiggles out and endorphins running high. It helps the classroom teachers as much as the kids.
