The materials I have chosen are to help students understand the difference between logging in and logging out. School today is unorganized and stressful. This leads to students not being able to turn their learning switch off. One thing I preach in my classroom is understanding a balance between when it is time to learn and when it is time to give yourself a rest. The GOLDSUN accent chair and the Office chair will give comfort to whichever students needs it that day while also being easy to clean and disinfect with the Lysol disinfecting wipes. The end tables will serve as a desk for whoever gets the alternative seating that day. The USB-C cable is something that can charge the teachers laptop while also acting as an HDMI hook-up for our smartboards. The inspirational wall art is a little touch to motivate some kids into knowing that a lot more is possible than they think. I hope that these materials will give students somewhere to be able to disconnect from the stressful nature of school and move into a more relaxing and comfortable state.
