Preschool is an excellent place to start to introduce math skills. Teaching the students using a variety of math manipulatives will help them develop a deeper understanding of math concepts taught in preschool. Because of the pandemic, many students have not had as much experience experimenting with math manipulatives to help math make sense to them. We know as we teach math and allow our students the opportunity to use many different materials, their understanding will grow and they will begin to learn math concepts and skills that they can then relate to other subjects.
