We see students reading less and less as the years go on, therefore it is more important than ever to have books on hand that teenagers find interesting! I have been doing my best to keep my classroom library growing, but as the year goes on it has been getting hard to keep their interest in free reading. Reading for enjoyment can have the greatest impact on growing minds. I want to be the one to show my students that reading does not always have to be "boring" or "just because it is required." They simply just need to know how to choose books that appeal to who they are as individuals!

About my class
