Whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in Math. It's an easy way to quickly do a formative assessment and tweak my instructions as necessary. Not to mention that students love using whiteboards, and it's a great way to keep them engaged in a fun manner. What can be a challenge for us in our school is the fact that markers never seem to last very long, and our school doesn't have enough funds to keep replacing them. Some of these products that I have selected - flexible seating and bean bags - will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. They can also be used as an alternative chair if needed! Math and ELA games will encourage critical thinking, improve motor skills and promote key social skills like leadership and team building for my students. Also these games are going to be used with intentionality, where I will be able to align them to learning outcomes, which can impact the acquisition of new skills or a review of previously learned material.
