This project will give my students responsibility in choosing the way they best learn, as well as tools to help them manage their daily materials consistently to promote better organizational skills. Flexible seating has been an option in my classroom for years. I've seen the positive impact it makes on a child's ability to attend and learn. We have "worn out" many of our options and need replacements. The organizational system will help my students improve their executive functioning skills. These are skills that children can carry on with them through their entire lives in they are taught how to manage it. They will be taught to be responsible for their own organization and materials management.
