Cross-curricular teaching intentionally applies multiple academic disciplines simultaneously and is an effective way to teach students transferable problem solving skills, give real-world meaning to school assignments, and increase engagement and rigor. These science kits and books will help me Integrate my science into other core subjects like reading and writing will help deepen students' knowledge, skills and understanding. It will also help me meet the individual learning styles of my students. While some of my students may learn best from the hands on activities (kinesthetic) in the science kits others will gain a better understanding through reading (visual) or be read too (auditory).

About my class
