Students are behind in phonics and listening comprehension due to Covid 19. The listening center is another way for children to hear books. Students are missing many skills that reading can help with. The reading center allows students to listen independently while I am helping other students in small groups. The art supplies will help my students with fine motor skills. I see students' fine motor skills declining in the last two years. These supplies allow children to strengthen their fine motor skills by tearing, painting, and cutting to make art projects.
