Every month students participate in an extra-curricular learning opportunity for student growth and achievement. This after school event is a student based Open Lab that gives my high school Cosmetology students a chance to practice what they learn. These products and supplies are needed for students to gain more "hands-on experience" by performing salon hair, skin and nail services on family, friends and community clients. My students look forward to this Open Lab experience because its fun service oriented and challenges them to reach their full potential in an engaging and creative way.
